Quiz Results: Identify Your Specific Ideal Client

You feel excited about what you do and you know you can help a lot of people. You might even be posting regularly on social media. But you don’t understand why people aren’t buying… 

When you finally have a potential client ask you for more information, you send them different options and list out everything that’s included, sometimes adding extras to hope to get them to buy. But they end up ghosting you or going with someone else, which feels like a knife to the heart…

You feel drained. You’re constantly thinking about your business trying to figure out what you’re doing wrong and how to get people to buy so you can finally make money in your business. You can really help anyone, so why isn’t anyone buying…

Here’s the problem:

Your heart is in the right place – you want to help so many people and figure out what you’re doing wrong so you can get them to buy. You have so much expertise and value to offer, and you know it can help them.

But when you’re too general in what you do and what you offer, knowing that you can help anyone with a range of problems, you don’t resonate with your potential clients because they don’t understand it’s for them.

When you speak to everyone, you’re selling to no one. 

So they ghost you or go with someone else.

How to Fix It:

This gets to be simple – It’s time to go deep and get crystal clear on who exactly your ideal client is.

  1. What is the #1 Problem You Help Solve: Which of your offers focuses on solving the biggest problem? A problem that they need to solve asap – not just something that would be nice to have, but something they would pay money to solve now. 

  2. Identify Who Exactly has this Problem: Who is the type of person who has this problem? Why do they have this problem? What are their qualities, characteristics, and situations currently that relate to this problem? This is your ideal client.

  3. Go Deeper: What are some of the deeper feelings and emotions your ideal client is challenged with around this problem? Why is this problem a real problem? How do they feel now?

  4. Post-Program Results & Feelings: Think about where your ideal client will be after they complete your program or purchase your offer. What will the outcomes, results, and emotions/feelings be? These should be directly related to the pain points. 

In order for people to buy from you, they have to understand that you offer a solution to a problem, and they have to recognize that they have the problem you solve. When you are too general in your offer and who you help, potential clients can’t identify that you can help them. You have to go deep, get specific, and make it crystal clear WHO your offer is for.

When you do this, the right people will feel like you’re in their brain understanding their problem and how they feel, and will want to hire you.
